This is Dubreuillosaurus. Known from one fossil, the holotype. Described in Journal of Vertebrate Paleontology in 2002. Accessioned into France's national collection, the Muséum national d'histoire naturelle in Paris, as MNHN 1998-13. Now up for auction. HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?

I've been reading a biography of Marie Skłodowska-Curie, and it inspired me to write a poem about her! It's a letter to her sister Bronia 💌 Feel free to have a look: kamila2guitar2phd.substack.com/p/to-92-rue-... #poetry #mariecurie #womeninstem

To 92 rue d’Allemagne, from Marie
This epistolary persona poem is written from Marie Skłodowska-Curie’s perspective, addressed to her sister Bronisława (Bronia), and inspired by Marie’s early months in Paris as a twenty-four-year-old.

New paper out today! Led by Daniel Schwarz, we retrodeformed the skull and reconstructed the cranio-mandibular musculature of the giant stem-amphibian Mastodonsaurus giganteus. Our results show that Mastodonsaurus had a powerful bite and a crocodile- like bite-and-hold feeding style.

Bird feathers from a Late Cretaceous coprolite
O’Connor et al. describe a Cretaceous coprolite preserving feathers. Bone fragments suggest they are from a hesperornithiform bird, consistent with feather morphologies associated with reduced water p...
