Accidentally let a unit die during a final chapter fight thinking it didn't count as it was in the arena, spoiler it dod, and now replaying the chapter to get them back, time to speed run 90 mins of lost progress lol

Loop of FE Fortune's Weave has clicked with me, such a satisfying and fun game, definitely a mechanical sequel to Three Houses but you can feel where they've made adjustments to the class system and it feels so well balanced, time management as well is really well handled

As someone who got quite burned out on the series by Splatoon 3, Raiders is absolutely brilliant, such a joy, can't wait to go deep into the post game

I would be fascinated to see the story of why Mania 2 never happened, you have statements like this but nothing has happened for a decade. Wouldn't be surprised if there was some studio politics and ego at play at the Sega side with Mania so lauded while there internally made games have struggled

I've been working on this for over a year: I'm remaking all of Ocarina of Time's prerenders in 3D, trying to match the N64 style rather than the 3DS one. The provisional name is OoT unJPEG. It will be distributed as both a romhack that runs on real N64 hardware and a mod for Zelda 64 Recompiled.

TOKYO MIRAGE SESSIONS CONTENT IN 2026 AHHHH Wish they went a bit more unique with the design for a choose your legends alt, but honestly so happy just having something new from the game. More people need to play TMS, so so underrated.

nintendo wants to make (very young) kids video content, but they also have incredibly strict brand guidelines, so you get gems like this

Xenoblade 2 Switch 2 edition is brilliant, some issues with the DLSS implementation but on a whole in comparison so X and the first game it's much better. Haven't played the game in full since it released in 2017 so maybe now is the time for a replay, maybe a full trilogy re-play this year

Finished Adventures of Elliot, just brilliant. One of those games you're sad to see credits roll, an absolute joy from start to finish, incredibly fun game and a story that if you stick with, has some wonderful emotional pay offs. Team Asano continue to prove they're one of Square's best

Jack @armadeus.bsky.social · 16/07/2026

I didn't expect the adventures of Elliot to hit me with an emotional ton of bricks but here we are

Incredibly cool that Before Crisis is now finally playable in an official English form. But also incredibly sad there is only 3 months to experience it before disappearing.

Persona 4 Is one of the most personally important and impactfully games for me, and while I still think a remake is un-needed, my God it looks incredible. P3R was already amazing from a stylistic and animation perspective but P4R is on a whole other level, looks brilliant. And it has Golden content!

The Tupac stuff in Stranger Than Heaven was already gross, but its way worse now that I know his "estate" is just this one random rich guy, and not Tupac's surviving sister.

Hit credits on First Light Need time to let it settle but this may have usurped RE9 as my favourite game of the year so far. Just phenomenal, amazing emergent gameplay and set pieces, incredibly well written and genuinely funny at points, and a love letter to Bond. Desperately hope we get a sequel

010

Jack @armadeus.bsky.social · 28/05/2026

Persona 6 already leaking lol Been thinking since the start of the this year we would get the announcement with the 30th anniversary, I'm assuming P4R will be around Feb 2027 alike P3R's timing, and then P6 end of 2027 at the earliest or more likely 2028

010

Jack @armadeus.bsky.social · 27/05/2026

Don't speak about it much but I'm a big James Bond fan, been so excited for this since the teaser that IOI were making a Bond game back in like 2020, cannot wait to dive in, looks stellar

I think the new star fox looks great and adore 64 but disappointed it's another re-tread Part of why I really like assault is that it really attempted to move the franchise forward both in narrative and gameplay. 64 is amazing but I think there's so much more the franchise can be

000

Jack @armadeus.bsky.social · 08/05/2026

They may have finally beaten the assault star wolf theme
