iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

After 80 hours on Fire Emblem Fortune's Weave, I have finally completed everyone's *checks notes* part 1, and now can move on to their part 2! The scale of this game is absolutely insane, helps the game is brilliant too

As someone who got quite burned out on the series by Splatoon 3, Raiders is absolutely brilliant, such a joy, can't wait to go deep into the post game

Will be listening to one of the best soundtracks ever at work today

Death Note the musical is absolutely phenomenal, what a show, it's running until mid September in London and I can't recommend it enough

Tokyo Mirage Sessions content in 2026, what a time to be alive

Finished Adventures of Elliot, just brilliant. One of those games you're sad to see credits roll, an absolute joy from start to finish, incredibly fun game and a story that if you stick with, has some wonderful emotional pay offs. Team Asano continue to prove they're one of Square's best

Incredibly cool that Before Crisis is now finally playable in an official English form. But also incredibly sad there is only 3 months to experience it before disappearing.

Probably my 3 favourite games of the year so far, been such a good year for games

Jack @armadeus.bsky.social · 25/06/2026

Persona 5 X is a very funny game

Jack @armadeus.bsky.social · 18/06/2026

Found a Tintin shop in London My life is complete

Jack @armadeus.bsky.social · 07/06/2026

Persona 4 Is one of the most personally important and impactfully games for me, and while I still think a remake is un-needed, my God it looks incredible. P3R was already amazing from a stylistic and animation perspective but P4R is on a whole other level, looks brilliant. And it has Golden content!

Got the platinum trophy in 007 First Light, and then finished off chippung away at the FF7 Rebirth combat challenges and got the platinum there too! I have entered my completionist era

Jack @armadeus.bsky.social · 30/05/2026

Hit credits on First Light Need time to let it settle but this may have usurped RE9 as my favourite game of the year so far. Just phenomenal, amazing emergent gameplay and set pieces, incredibly well written and genuinely funny at points, and a love letter to Bond. Desperately hope we get a sequel

010

Jack @armadeus.bsky.social · 27/05/2026

Don't speak about it much but I'm a big James Bond fan, been so excited for this since the teaser that IOI were making a Bond game back in like 2020, cannot wait to dive in, looks stellar

The best top down Zelda game is on the nintendo music app, meaning I can now easily listen to Lorule castle on repeat endlessly

My copy of peak gaming arrived a day early

They may have finally beaten the assault star wolf theme

000

Jack @armadeus.bsky.social · 16/04/2026

My copy of Pragmata came a day early! One of my most anticipated games of the year, so excited to play

000

Jack @armadeus.bsky.social · 17/03/2026

Xenoblade 2 on handheld and not looking godawful I'm going to cry happy tears

Jack @armadeus.bsky.social · 13/03/2026

And that's RE9 100%! Fantastic game, loved my first playthrough and really appreciated the level design and mechanics more on repeated runs, would regard it as a top 5 RE easily, possibly top 3. Looking forward to whenever that DLC drops.

Jack @armadeus.bsky.social · 08/03/2026

For a further list of games that would definitely change on another day, here's 7 more

010

Jack @armadeus.bsky.social · 08/03/2026

Did the fun trend of 3x3 of my favourite games, tried to limit to 1 a series and would probably be different if you asked me another day, but here are 9 very important games to me I think are brilliant and you should all play

Jack @armadeus.bsky.social · 05/03/2026

2027 already looking good

000

Jack @armadeus.bsky.social · 28/02/2026

Accidentally finished my first RE9 playthrough. Need some replays and time to simmer but initial thoughts, brilliant game, truly feels like a series celebration and builds incredibly well off RE2R and RE4R, easily on the upper end of the franchise for me.

Jack @armadeus.bsky.social · 22/02/2026

Quick replay of RE2R before Requiem from drops next week, still one of my favourite RE games and just games ever, absolutely brilliant still, roll on RE9

000

Jack @armadeus.bsky.social · 19/02/2026

Playing Xenoblade X switch 2 edition, the 60 fps is incredibly nice but what the hell happened with the upscale, looks abysmal with the amount of artefacts especially on handheld, hope it can be patched to be better

010

Jack @armadeus.bsky.social · 08/02/2026

Best thing I've seen all week

As the year is ending, here's my ranking of everything I played this year! (including stuff I replayed). Been a good year for games and still games I wanted to get around to (UFO 50, MGS Delta, Death Stranding 2) and probably won't because 2026 has too much I want to play already.

020

Jack @armadeus.bsky.social · 14/12/2025

Really looking forward to Pragamata, played the demo and I love the gameplay concept of doing puzzles mid fight, can imagine so many interesting ways it can be used. Plus the PC version seems incredibly well optimized, which is not always a given with RE Engiene

Jack @armadeus.bsky.social · 14/12/2025

Need to have more of a think and reflect but landing on these as my favourite games of the year

010

Jack @armadeus.bsky.social · 10/12/2025

Nintendo store randomly restocked the very rare Metroid amiibo a few days ago so got it for RRP instead of £80. I look forward to it dropping £30 in value when I open it

000

Jack @armadeus.bsky.social · 07/12/2025

Good game Need some time to ruminate on my feelings for Prime 4 overall had a great time, though in parts you can tell the troubled development and some ideas that don't quite work imo, but taken as a whole I really enjoyed it.

Not enough people to talk to about this show so I am using this as my push, please watch Pluribus, absolutely phenomenal and probably my favourite show of the year

000

Jack @armadeus.bsky.social · 15/11/2025

Can still say FF Tactics is one of the best games in the whole series, what a truly brilliant and special game

If you ever question how big of a Xenoblade fan I am, I spent over 100 hours on the 3DS version alone (really cool and interesting version)

DQ 1&2 remake came a day early! The covers of 3 and 1&2 together is *chef's kiss*
