Working on some tripods and hand draggy butter tricks. This was probably the smoothest one on camera. Happened towards the end of the day. Thanks @stucat.bsky.social for filming.

I just caught a bird at work with a fishing net because it flew into the store and got stuck in a display window.

In the process of doing another round of cover letters, resume tweaks, and job applications. I always forget how tedious this is. That and how much I suck at being productive at home because of ADHD in my living space. I have to go to the library to be productive. I relearn that each time.

Just a collection of pressy and buttery things I've been working on.

First day up at Turoa since getting to NZ! Was worried about my knee, but it's holding up great and I'm getting my confidence back.

Went looking for and found a critically endangered snail today! Potamopyrgus oppidanus, isolated to this hillside in Wellington.

Few photos by the Waimakariri River. @stuffbyliam.bsky.social showed me around and took these for me.

First stop in NZ was Sumner Beach. I haven't been on a coastal beach in over 10 years.

San Francisco Airport sucks ass. Too much walking. My bags are heavy and not wheeled.

About to board my first of 3 flights to get where I'm going in NZ. Anxious, excited. Last two and a half weeks have been great. Got to spend time with lots of good people, that helped me calm the nerves a bit. Thankful for all the folks that have spent time with me and been kind to me.
