Next up in my "wee little scroll talisman" series: rings. Wind them to size, superglue the heck out of them (like those wood veneer rings, but heavy craft paper) I put a copper band and shellac on mine. Dont know about durability, but this would work over a metal band.

I dont know if its just gettin old sucks, or something happened, but my heat tolerance is just Shot. Gone. No more. Its barely 90 degrees, i just worked for about 20 minutes filling in a ditch and my cheeks and forehead are painfully red, and Im woozy. This sucks.

We glued in the wrong piece of pvc, straight where we needed a sweep. Because I know about thermoplastics, and you can make a cool bow out of pvc (backyard bowyer, youtube) and I have a heat gun, the project was rescued. Creative problem solving ftw.
