It is a hard thing, to be fundamentally misunderstood. Perhaps the problem is on my end. Perhaps not. But it is like trying to communicate through a language barrier, in a secind tongue, that lacks words to convey your true meaning. Some almost get it. Most make poor assumptuons. It is wearying.

And so people get more invested in the story they tell themselves about experience than the experience itself, it goes off the rails, and they miss whats actually occurring and what its about. Like theres a legit Something, and then they take the story and run far the wrong way with it.

An issue Ive identified with several new spiritualities is they latch onto random concepts and explanations taken from here and there, and just Assume thats what their experience is, rather than examining their experience to See what it is. Not sure that made sense

It seems that the furries and tulpamamcy arose from the old otherkin discussions/communities. But that spiritual animal affinity/seeming has been a thing in many spiritualities going back forever.

I think we have to acknowledge certain realities of working with people who despise everything you stand for and being very outnumbered, and the job still has to get done. If she becomes pelosi, sure. But theres a legit hard balance to strike there.
