IN NEED OF HELP:

Sunday night, my laptop hinge cracked while in use. The laptop still works, but said screen is loose and now I can't properly close it carry my laptop without the risk of it breaking apart.

I took it to a local tech shop, and the owner estimated the repair that from all the fees such as the diagnostic check and parts, it adds to an estimate high of $250, and this is IF they are able to fix it.
On top of already going through 3 weeks of financial strain after unexpected emergencies and sudden expenses, I'm stretched so thin I can't cover it all on my own.

I rely on this laptop for practically everything for two years, including academics and art. I can only do so many tasks with my phone alone, and any bigger projects and needs are at risk. I refuse to let my semester or future plans implode overnight.

Since time is very critical in this situation, I ask for a stretch goal $150 dollars by the end of the week (October 5tH) to cover part of the repair costs and to help keep me afloat as fast as possible.
Simply sharing this post is also a HUGE help!

I was hoping it wouldn't have come to this or so abruptly, especially since I'm not on socials as much I once was and some people don't know me personally,,but I must take action fast so I can quickly get back on top of things again.

you arent a burden. you are a human being with wants and needs. having desires does not make you selfish. unless you are sonic, in which case you are not human and everything you do sickens me.

Guess who still can't get a job and is genuinely running out of savings. I'm still applying to places but I really want to afford my insurance and therapy bills. If anyone is interested in getting art from me, please check out the google form here

msrachelforlittles If more than 20,000 white children were killed in another part of the world, everyone would be shouting about it at their concerts. Treating some children's lives as less worthy of outrage is racist. Silence during a genocide is not neutral.
