I’ve seen plenty of folks in binds like this - never thought I’d be one also. To put a long story short, my current laptop met its maker. Money is scarce, and now I’m currently down a PC. I’m setting up a goal on my Ko-fi page for a new one, hopefully sooner than later. ko-fi.com/kirbyfan88/g...

IN NEED OF HELP:

Sunday night, my laptop hinge cracked while in use. The laptop still works, but said screen is loose and now I can't properly close it carry my laptop without the risk of it breaking apart.

I took it to a local tech shop, and the owner estimated the repair that from all the fees such as the diagnostic check and parts, it adds to an estimate high of $250, and this is IF they are able to fix it.
On top of already going through 3 weeks of financial strain after unexpected emergencies and sudden expenses, I'm stretched so thin I can't cover it all on my own.

I rely on this laptop for practically everything for two years, including academics and art. I can only do so many tasks with my phone alone, and any bigger projects and needs are at risk. I refuse to let my semester or future plans implode overnight.

Since time is very critical in this situation, I ask for a stretch goal $150 dollars by the end of the week (October 5tH) to cover part of the repair costs and to help keep me afloat as fast as possible.
Simply sharing this post is also a HUGE help!

I was hoping it wouldn't have come to this or so abruptly, especially since I'm not on socials as much I once was and some people don't know me personally,,but I must take action fast so I can quickly get back on top of things again.

AI is genuinely at the most scariest it's been and it won't stop anytime soon with how fast people are eating it up Like what do you mean AI timelapses, sketchbook drawings, realistic animals and flat out merging games and their coding all happened in the last 3 months

I've recently played through all of the Parappa series and now seeing this message from FNF is so funny considering its gameplay is directly from Parappa's but with no sauce
