“Into Vagueness” (Poem) On blankness aka “brain fog”. Maybe it speaks to your experience.
Screenshot of poem. Poem text:

Into Vagueness

by Andrew Radde Gallwitz

I feel a blank privation when I reach

erased and frozen shorelines of my spirit.

I used to feed and water something here

where leaves and stars in symbol-season spoke,

and I recall the signal fires smoked.

What was it that I used for kindling then?

These dry and leafy lines refuse to spark,

for only what I bring can they produce.

One try only, until swirling, rest,

as Earth's unconquered force reclaims my breast.

Unsleeping still, I churn in memory

blank as milkcream folds, this warmer pool;

no bright and dark contrasting words arise

to hold my mind's starved eye with their delight,

     nor tranquilizing beauty charms tonight.

Poem draft: “Chemistry is Angelology”
Screen shot of seven-line poem in google doc.

Text:

Centered title Chemistry is Angelology
by Andrew Radde-Gallwitz

Poem text:
Our Angelology, Chemistry is:
Electrons dancing around the pin head;
A study bereft of all human interest
Of what pushes and pulls us unknowing,
Fundaments Atlaslike all our spun frame,
Plucking each smallest fiber and string,
Vibration attraction repulsion divine.

A draft of a short poem, “Unraveling”
Screenshot of an 8 line poem.

Unraveling by Andrew Radde-Gallwitz

Begone! the messenger Hermes and angels,
The mediums, soothsayers, augurs, and priests.
I do not lean on occult mediation;
I by this glass can read heaven directly
Through wavy distances vaster faster
Than any winged thing flies itself over
Back up the Eon-Font spent spinning out
And pouring these heaven-thread riddler-worlds.

Poem drafted. “One Thing.”
Screenshot of six-line poem in Notes App. Text:

One Thing
By Andrew Radde-Gallwitz

One thing earth does is
We pray and the crops grow tall.
Ordinarily.

One thing sky does is
We dance and the spring rains fall.
Ordinarily.

😂 Yeah but I didn’t think of it then. Actually that would be more in keeping with this 2023 text to him:

A new poem drafted. Entitled “Infill”. On a sense of duty to create form, performed when able. Text in Alt.

Infill
By Andrew Radde-Gallwitz

I
must think my soul, transcribing when able,
Feel lumber, parts, fasteners quicken,
Assembling syntactically, square, true, and plumb.
This house that goes with me out and about,
My shell, only inward, a garden enclosed—
And miracle: growing to house every
Thing that I meet every thought every face;
The framing just stretches and pulls itself
Stretching to infinite world and often
Reforms or reshapes or recalls some old
Sentence which long ago lovers of wisdom
Transcribed and we stored in the basement.

Sorry if these lines don’t do justice. I feel I have to write of I’ll go mad. Like everyone else I’m having trouble processing how poor Renee Nicole Good got shot and then put on some sort of trial in the public eye.

RNG
By Andrew Radde-Gallwitz

I am stripped
I’m on parade
I am red
With blood and hate

I am bare
I am unknown
I’m everywhere
But my own home

I am glass
So you can see
I’m in the way
You puncture me

Here I am
Why can’t you see
Just over there
Beneath the tree

A distraction from the news.
Screenshot of a poem by me entitled "Me, in days of DOGE"

The poem reads:

An old man sat in conjuration
Down the sunny lanes he went
In reader’s thought, while men of station
Greedily their labors spent.
They thoughtlessly unmortared nations
Breathlessly tore plank from plank.
The man thought it a fit occasion:
Into his poetry he sank.
And in a quarter-hour made he
Lands and worlds more round and full
Than could be wrecked by men or Hades,
Howsoever hard they pull.
	For demolition’s clumsy maws
	Are never an efficient cause.
