So, I'm not at all familiar with yuri outside of a surface-level understanding of what it is but I've seen you make this complaint multiple times in the past. At least from the GQL end of things they've completely removed the info if you're not at least a mod in the channel you're checking in. They overlooked that at first but quickly fixed it once workarounds popped up. As for the official API this information was restricted WAY before this change.

I wasn't trying to say that they weren't uncanny, I was saying that the visual of an overly-detailed Link being directly next to a very much *not* detailed set of NPCs was itself giving off a weird, jarring, uncanny vibe. I'm well aware of the low-def-to-high-def issue being an older gamer myself.

That scene in Hyrule Castle Town with Link next to the dancing couple is a perfect example of how weirdly uncanny and jarring this exact problem you describe is.

I thought of that but unfortunately even completely disabling my adblocker (and I mean *disabling* the extension, not just whitelisting Google) failed to get it to work. I would hit the toggle, the page would start loading something for a second, and then refresh with the error message shown.

It turns out that the "Personalized ads on Google" setting I thought I had disabled long ago had at some point been turned on. Disabling *that* again has seemingly disabled Partner ads setting entirely despite trying to turn them off in that specific setting having a constant and unavoidable error.

As far as I've seen in my own testing Twitch's GraphQL only allows for someone to check their own setting status, not anyone else's. So I'm not sure how much more useful GQL would be over the way they've currently got it working. Unless you know more about it than I do about it (incredibly likely).

Oh, absolutely! I just wasn't sure if you were aware based on how your wording, that's all! Based on how I read it I think *any* messages in your chat automatically get opted out if *you* opt out. That setting only applies to the *channel* of the account in question. Whatever the case, yes!

So keep that in mind: turning this setting on won't opt you out from having you or your bots' chat messages used to train generative AI across all of Twitch, *only* in channels that have themselves opted out. Chatting in a channel that hasn't opted out means you'll still used to train AI.

While you're definitely right about turning this off for ALL possible accounts, it's my understanding (from the text on their FAQ about it) that turning this setting off only affects *that account's* channel/chat; the setting of each channel they're actually chatting in is the one that applies.

For no reason in particular I'd like to take a moment to remind everyone that you're able to ignore entire publishers/developers on Steam so that you never see their games again. I went and picked a publisher completely at random to take this screenshot to demonstrate where to find this option
