im torn about the non voters. while i do think a lot of them could be radicalized given the right conditions. My sense is that a large amount of them are very disconected from reality. Joe rogan watchers, conspiracy theorists and determined individualists.

sorry you lost me. I thought we were talking about controlled opposition vs valuable reformists. i think mandami, aoc, sanders, abdul el sayed, dsa are valuable reformists. Mandami is delivering material results. some may even be radicals but i feel thats a different convo.

i agree that controlled opposition demobilises. but i think our disagreement is who is controlled opposition. I think most democrats are. But i think DSA, mandami, sanders, AOC and abdul el sayed are not. mandami is generating material benefits.

jajaja, i like how you have all the meems locked and loaded and ready to go. im not against revolution, im awed by what has been achieved by china and cuba, even the USSR. I just think that untill you have a revolutionary mass you need to make strategic alliances as you push for revolution.

A french machine for redistributing the power of hundreds of people a day. Popular enough in the late 1700 and early 1800 that they redistributed people in the public square in front of massive crowd. It has since fallen out of fashion.

you seem more optimistic than i am. im looking at 3degrees of warming by 2050 and finding/building shelter for 2billion people that will have to move from where they are. but idk, maybe china can build enough robots.

have fully automated tedium and luxury communism where work and play become indistinguishible. but i think leisure politics is limited by the work requirements of climate infrastructure.

i totaly get how tennis or squash resembles a duel 1v1. But combat is often done in groups and i think the strategic moves of something like football (global) or rugby are more similar to this.
