Testing out the Qidi Max 4. Had the damned thing for months but only recently got around to unpacking and setting it up.

Just released Manga+Press 3.1.2. This update resolves an annoyance in the admin with a double-echo in the help docs, and also confirms support for WordPress 7.1. Unless something else comes up, this will probably be the last release for the 3.1 branch, since I need to turn my attention to 3.2!

While trying to simulate anisotropy in Eevee, I ended up with this weird mystic soap-bubble/energy shield effect that I just had to experiment with animating #blender #b3d #shaders

Everytime I see "Booktok" (or any -Tok), my eye twitches. It's as grating as vocal fry, but for your eyes. Also, related: any time I see "[Insert-Social-Media-Platform] Artist Community", the first thing that comes to mind is a wanking gesture.

Mondays. Github has the Mondays. So did my two alarms, apparently. Woke up 90 minutes late. Maybe that's why my younger cat was in the bedroom serenading us with the song of her people this morning 🤦

This is one of the few cover paintings I used myself as a model. I had been working too much and was stressed out about making the deadline. 2/4

Close detail from THE PRIDE OF CHANUR featuring the haggard face of the human male modeled after the artist. The lids of his blue eyes look heavy and there is a pronounced “bag” under one eye. The faces of the Hani are detailed with long fur on the cheeks and rumpled fur on their snouts. One has a series of rings on its points ear that includes a shiny ball dangling from a chain on one.

A curiosity here: has anyone used Blender to create vector graphics, either using curves or Grease Pencil? I tried out Krita, InkScape, and Calligra, and wasn't happy with the results, so I tried Blender and... I'd like to hear from other vector artists on this topic. #blender3d #vectorgraphics

It’s hard to imagine any technology that has ever fucked it this badly, and purely through arrogance, it’s like if the people who invented the car decided to showcase its utility by driving over your family dog and then backing up and doing it again, and also the car sucked and was bad

I have been incredibly busy but now with WordPress 7.0 and I understand that there were some huge changes to the WordPress admin that might impact Manga+Press's functionality. Rest assured, I'm investigating and working on a fix.
