SPIDER - 2026 My piece for @paulscottcanavan.com 's excellent Mastering Imaginative Realism course. it's the hardest I've ever worked on a single image and has been a total goldmine for technique, research and workflow. sorry if you don't like spiders, I found painting this very healing.

a woman rides into battle perched on the back of an enormous spider, they emerge into sunlight from a glowing green cave, the woman is weilding a glave and is casting a spell that resembles tugging on a spider web. in the foreground a smaller spider is also approaching. image painted as the result of Paul Scott Canavan's excellent mentorship scheme.

This #bloodymary idea would not leave me alone until I doodled it

Ryland Grace and Simon from Iron Lung are kissing - Rocky watches from the distance looking surprised

Rocky is disgusted with such human courting rituals.
"uugh Human courting ritual disgust. Like eating but MORE disgusssst. If Rocky know so messy would not encourage courting, statement."

Simon gets revenge by licking the outside of Rocky's sphere - slobbering all over it deliberately, much to Rocky's chagrin.

The TOS being so strict that they control you offsite is the problem; sites like Patreon and Kofi have offsite clauses too. The social criminalization of the suggestion that somewhere you might be doing nsfw is a problem. It's branding a person as obscene and we need consumers to stand up for us

A little late to the #bloodymary brunch, but the brainworms have thoroughly taken hold. I had to try my hand at drawing Simon, and it turned into a study of a headcanon of him getting a xenonite prosthetic that serves as a trellis for his plant/blood vein mutations. #ironlung | #projecthailmary

#artfight revenge on @ricogrimm.de >3. I had to take on their lurking swamp-dweller, Mordune the Red! Such a cool dragon design!

A swampy dragon lays in wait at the edge of the murk, with a gold coin as bait. She is reddish brown with turtle, mole, and frog influences, moist skin, and mottled coloration.

Since this is my first year at #artfight I wanted to spread out my attacks and target a few people kind of randomly- and loved that they had a feature that you can search for people who had a high ratio of attacks who haven't received much back :) This is Lynx for ch3rrygh0st_

Rou, a Fuchsvalk (fox-folk) with the ability to generate portals - is generating a portal between a sunny, grassy field and a darker forest. They are wearing purple with a sheer top and has red fox ears and tail and a scar on the right side of their face.

Artists, show me your guns! 🔫 Guns are absolutely one of my weak points artistically. I think this is my favorite take on one, featuring The Winter Soldier, of course. If anyone could get me to draw guns, it's Bucky.

Bucky Barnes, the Winter Soldier, kneels in a snowy environment with a grey wolf by his side. A play on his White Wolf moniker.
