iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

I really want to try this game. Someone I know can get me a code, but they need to install it I think. 😭

Oh shit, I just realized I can almost completely filter politics by using names. 😮

Oh that's an interesting take I didn't think of.

How big is the Sonic fandom here? I keep seeing posts about Sonic in my feed. I don't know if I should be scared lol

I've seen a couple posts mention that the more you post about your interests the easier it becomes for people to find you and vice versa. I'm not entirely sure how it works though.

With Twitter having a vastly higher number of active users, what would you attribute that to? More of your audience being here? Twitter's algorithms simply being inadequate at directing potentially interested users to your content?

hihi you were in my discover feed here, thought I'd let you know 🙂

I believe a lot of it has to do with how algorithms heavily favor what's "popular". So, if we can avoid the typical curated feeds and replace them with our own, then I believe everyone can find their happy place hopefully. This will require more investment from the individual user to work though.

I need to motivate myself to work on these coding projects more. I don't know if I'll use these certifications to find work in programming, but at the least they should help me with my own ideas/projects that I want to work on. Also, I just feel more productive when I do them.

Let's hope so. It's a tough problem to solve.

True, I guess I'm just too used to new platforms being great for a few years and then declining, because of gaining too many users.

Hey new Bluesky users: this website has no centralized algorithm. If you think it seems dead in here, it's absolutely not. However, you are going to have to follow more people than you did on Twitter to see a lot of action in your Home feed.

Sounds good to me. Algorithms can honestly piss off.
