i think many of us know the type of an incredibly hot dude with sad eyes who seems to relate to his incredible hotness as tho it were a genuine problem he's gotta cancel out with various strap-ons and appliances but only bill skarsgaard keeps making blockbusters about it

Eternal comics truths, from a 2006 article in the Hackensack, NJ, Record:

Comic book rules, from the mouths of fans
No 1. "no one ever stays dead." - Sean Walsh, 19, New Preston, Conn.
No. 2. "If you run out of ideas, you make a whole new universe." - Will Barrett, 18, Danbury, Conn.
No. 3. "No matter how many things are going on, Wolverine can be in your comic at any time." - Walsh
No. 4. "All heroes need a good pair of boots. They have to be shiny and they have to be bright." - Dave Lowe, 18, Harriman, N.Y.

The crime of genocide didn't exist until after WW2. It was something we decided was real, needed to be identified and punished. Even if we've been spectacularly bad at putting it in practise, we conceptualised it. I think it's about time for a CEO crime of murder-by-Economy.

Perhaps because while Israel illegally arrested and tortured human rights activists sailing on aid flotillas to Gaza, the United States is drone-striking civilian vessels.

Disappointed JMS wrote this. I was already side-eyeing it when it was announced. From a review of the 1st issue it's exactly what we expected. "Despite the current lineup of The Avengers, you’ll notice there isn’t one character of color in that grouping, and only one hero who’s a woman."

sometimes kieron gillen drops a book and it feels like it was the result of him floating through the collective unconscious, seeing me lying catatonic and face down in my mindscape, and being like “eh. i’ll throw him a bone.”

Sorry about the request, but now my mother is responsible for the rest of my siblings after my father left us, and as I am her eldest daughter and her very close friend, I am trying with her to be one hand to get the rest of my siblings out of this genocide.
