I’m curious how many other Owl House alumni we’ll be getting in the voice department since we have three currently.

If you want to know why Jews are suspicious of you when you're just trying to be a well-meaning antizionist gentile, consider that these two things were written by the same man, Guangtian Ha, a (currently suspended) religion professor at Haverford

a passage from an article by guangtian ha that reads:

We make this call amidst growing concern about antisemitism on our campus. Questions have arisen in the context of a number of specific situations, including external influences from Lower Merion, from donors, and from some alumni who are hell-bent on defining the " ways to be Jewish. This, of course, flies in the face of thousands of years of Jewish tradition which is fundamentally based on interrogation, questioning, and truth-seeking. We take these attacks on our anti-Zionist Jewish community members seriously and we understand the real damage the state of Israel causes for the entire Jewish world when it claims to be acting on behalf of all Jews while engaging in horrific atrocities that - truth be told- mirror some of the worst stereotypes of Jews that have been a part of European racism for centuries. We will be clear: antisemitism should be unacceptable at Haverford, but the energy and consideration which some in our administration have granted these bad faith actors suggests otherwise.

a passage from a court document about guangtian ha that reads:

In or about January 2026, through in or about February 2026, defendant GUANGTIAN HA, using X account "America IstLM" posted a series of threatening and harassing messages directed at Victim 1, including the following:
a. "Jew, get the fuck out of my country"
b. "Jew pig, get the fuck out of Lower Merion"
c. "If jews are so special then they should also be placed in special camps and receive special treatments"
d. "LM jews are going to have it big time, jew. Remember this. You scums have had it too easy. Goyim are taking America back, blood-guzzling demons."

Speaking of Thor, as cool as it would be to get him, I’d prefer to see Beta Ray Bill or Jane. Spice things up. If we do get Thor, it could be his Unworthy phase

Also makes sense there’d be a weirdness to him given that Hyde is essentially Jekyll cosplaying as a much younger man. Not saying that was the intention, but it would fit

It really is insane how many timelines the Halloween franchise has. 5 in total, if you count the standalone, separate-from-Michael-Myers third film as a timeline. This franchise is weird lol

A chart showing the timelines of the Halloween franchise.

Thorn Timeline: 1, 2, and 4-6
Anthology “Timeline”: 3
H20 Timeline: 1, 2, H20, Resurrection
Zombie Timeline: Halloween ‘07, Halloween II ‘09
Blumhouse Timeline: Halloween ‘78, Halloween ‘18, Kills, Ends

The thing is they were allowed to run rampant for fucking years. The fact several of their twitter followers include people like Emma Viegland, Mehdi Hasan and Hasan Piker is damning. This is a sign for the left to do better, else these types rule us more then they already are

Like you can’t tell me there’s a disturbing amount of left-wing pundits who’ll (rightfully) call out the horrors in Gaza, while in the same breath extolling the virtues of the CCP, Putin, North Korea and the various Islamic extremists just because they’re anti-American.

April Flowers (He/Him and They/Them) @aprilflowers4ever.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

To be honest, my trust in left wing content creators has resulted in it being spent especially after Graham Platner got shielded by several only talking heads despite his numerous red flags only because he was on the “right side” regarding Gaza. Same goes for how people dick ride Hasan as well.

Bad Empanada reminds me of The Batman (2022)’s version of the Riddler. He’s angry at society but instead of wanting progress and reform, he’d rather just burn it all down, innocents be damned.

Had someone say they thought that this came up as “witch hunty” given it happened a decade ago, but I can’t help but wonder if they’d be so defensive if it was a right-winger who did this same shit. Not a defense of RW’s, just pointing out the double standard.

Important to remember in light of recent events. The amount of people glazing this man just because he’s being arrested is insane. He’s not, nor should he ever have been considered and ally of the Pro-Palestine movement, regardless of what he did with his money.

See the problem with this take is that the important aspect of the feud between the Montagues and Capulets isn’t that they’re two houses both alike in dignity, but that the violence between exists on a scale that utterly eclipses our leads. The tragedy superseding their individuality

Tumblr post by sarafangirlart:
There isn't a piece of media more poorly misinterpreted than Romeo and Juliet. It was about 2 dumb teenagers falling in love but being unable to bc their families are two equally rich and powerful assholes who hate each other for no real reason. It can't be warped into a story of colonizer x colonized, bigot x minority or slave x master. The massive power imbalance misses the point.
#fucking Perseus and Andromeda have more in common with Romeo and Juliet than Neoparasite and Andromache
#what the fuck are we doing #romeo and juliet #shakespeare

An illustration of Kairi and Xion from Kingdom Hearts. They lean on each other in a field of flowers that represent them (Kairi's heart piece, and aster flowers for Xion) while their respected keyblades stand beside them. The kingdom hearts moon iconography is drawn right behind them.
