When I was in college, I dreamed of becoming a Humanities professor. My mental and physical health really put a wrench in that, but it seems there are increasing opportunities for independent scholars in the areas I'm interested in.

I’ve been speaking with my professor friend about writing some more scholarly work and participating in conferencwa. Probably not not anytime soon,due to deadlines. But I'm looking into resources for doing so in addition to the bajillion projects I already have.

replies felt weirdly discouraged on twitter (at least to me) but I really recommend getting back into the habit of telling artists directly when you like their stuff. not even in an engagement farming way, it just feels nice. nobody's day is going to be worse hearing that you like their work

For those of you that incorporate public domain art into your TTRPGs, how do you keep track of everything? I've been using Zotero, but I'm open to suggestions!
