Did my delivery at Moosehead this morning, and I decided to park my truck, put on a nicer shirt, and take a taxi into St John to be a bit of a tourist for a few hours. Super excited to get some seafood.

Driving through an intense storm yesterday I put on Luke Combs "ain't No Love in Oklahoma." And it definitely changed the mood. I felt excited at first, but then I remembered I haven't seen the second movie, and it didn't go so well for the tanker driver in the first one.

Chamel Abdulkarim, a 29-year-old employee of NFI Industries, was arrested on felony arson charges after allegedly setting fire to a 1.2-million-square-foot Kimberly-Clark distribution center in Ontario, California. The massive six-alarm blaze, fueled by paper products like toilet paper and tissues, completely destroyed the facility and caused the roof to collapse, though all 20 employees on-site managed to escape without injury. Investigators linked Abdulkarim to the crime through a social media video he filmed while igniting pallets of inventory, in which he repeatedly voiced his motive for the blaze: "All you had to do was pay us enough to live."

Had an incredibly unlucky day yesterday. Hit a deer with my pickup, which put it out of service a good 2 hours away from home, and while waiting for the tow truck I slipped on ice and absolutely fucked my knee up. Currently walking with a cane, hoping it will heal soon. Feel bad for the deer.
