This was my first trip to katsucon, and my two takeaways are: A) the con goers are mostly in their 20s. And I was happy to be there with some friends my own age. B) katsu loves a fancy costume. The more fancy, the more love. Congoers do not need to recognize it, as long as it’s fancy.
