also i am well aware that lots of people think BPD fits Lestat better than BD & i totally respect— i think if you can see yourself in a character & get some peace/strength from it that’s awesome ❤️ i personally really do see him as bipolar & take a lot of simultaneous comfort & cathartic pain from it

some people are upset w Lestat using the word bipolar to describe Nicki—as a bipolar person, i too am not a fan of the word being thrown around as an insult. however, considering the call is coming from inside the fucking house, i personally just this once will be letting it slide #tvl

#tvlspoilers * * * My beautiful wife and his ugly ass (but very period accurate) clothes <3

Still of Armand in 18th century attire from promo for episode 3 of The Vampire Lestat

Another still of Armand in the same outfit, standing up so we can see his very boxy, horizontally striped gray and tan waistcoat underneath an 18th century tailcoat.

it’s the way they could pick almost uh. anything else regarding lestat’s behaviour/story and make at LEAST a decent argument criticising it…not that one tho!!! 😃 i feel bad for real life survivors of abuse/incest bc the way it’s being talked about is awful

I'm having tons fun with the new pics that are floating around... <: I hope you like this portrait of another Disaster Vampire 💙 #Lestat #TheVampireLestat #LestatDeLiouncourt #SamReid #IWTV #InterviewWithTheVampire #AnneRice #Wisesesnail

Digital painting of a Sam Reid as Lestat. He has long, wavy blonde hair and he is looking over his shoulder toward the viewer while playing a violin. The figure has striking light eyes and a focused expression. The artwork uses a vibrant, painterly style with broad brushstrokes and a colorful background of warm oranges, pinks, and deep purples. A thin, black circular halo frames the figure’s head, and vertical glitch-like lines run across the entire canvas.

yep! plus cutting the south off from things like well-funded public transport, easy access to healthcare, and education A) disproportionately affects BIPOC & the impoverished and B) only serves to create more “ignorant neighbours.” ty for standing up against that rhetoric bc it’s awful 💜

no we're not doing that high speed, electric rail to connect the entire country. north to south, east to west. we do not punish people because of where they live. they're being punished enough by their ignorant neighbors and corrupt government
