I imagine it is. There have been a few recorded emergency landings without a rudder. Apparently, you can achieve the enough yaw with differential power to the engines.

FlightAware shows the plane hitting over 600 kts ground speed after it nose-dived. Airspeed was likely much higher, so it was likely hitting overspeed conditions. They're lucky they didn't lose more control surfaces.

Crazy infocoming out of Saudi about a Fly Dubai flight that seemed to have a FO attack the pilot, open the flight deck door to dump him out, subsequently attacked by FAs/passengers, and then the plane landed by dead-heading pilots. And oh, it plummeted 12000 ft in 30s. And the rudder's missing.

BREAKING: A BC Supreme Court judge has sided with Jeremy Kalicum and Eris Nyx, who operated an illicit-drug compassion club (Drug User Liberation Front), were convicted of trafficking, and challenged the constitutionality of Canada's drug laws. Trafficking section ruled invalid, convictions stayed.

Whoa. A pretty monumental BC Supreme Court judgement about safe supply the poison drug crisis. TL;DR: She tossed out the charges against the DULF and ruled parts of related law unconstitutional.
