Great first official appt with his hematologist today. Confirmed biopsy showed no cancer in his bone marrow and he said he fully expects his 6 cycles of chemo will put him in remission and then we’ll do stem cell transplant to be sure it stays that way. Feeling very thankful right now.

It really is wild how quickly your life can change entirely. We got thrown a plot twist last month when my husband was diagnosed with cancer (non-hodgkins lymphoma) completely out of the blue. He's done 1 cycle of chemo and has 5 more to go, then we'll see what's next after that.

Two weeks from today I am officially retired from junior league leadership. So much still to do in these two weeks but free time and relaxation is in sight! (I love junior league and this year in this role has been the honor of a lifetime but I am exhausted.)

I love that I have an even better relationship with my old boss now after I tried to quit and ultimately moved to a new dept internally. We were close before but she was still my boss so she couldn’t tell me certain things. We had lunch today and traded gossip and it was the best.
