I've seen a few people mention (one to me) others before and now today that libraries are advocating free stuff/not sales for the author. Libraries don't acquire books by magic. They buy copies with money. It can be hundreds/thousands of sales. People pay taxes to use the library. Nothing is free.

Dear Wendy by @annzhao.bsky.social is a 5 star book that had me tearing up from start to finish. Excellent storytelling, excellent characters, and the aromantic asexual representation tore into my soul. It’s listed as YA, but I 100% recommend to all.
