Annie Gouk @anniegouk.bsky.social · 12/12/2024The annual report from Shelter on the number of people who will be homeless this Christmas is stark reading - at least 354,000 people in England, including 161,500 children, will spend the holidays without a home. Annie Gouk @anniegouk.bsky.social · 03/12/2024Some interesting data out today from @centreforcities.bsky.social, suggesting Labour are going to miss their 2029 housebuilding target by at least 388,000 homes. The shortfall is forecast to be largest in big metropolitan areas - I've mapped the figures at a local level below 👇 #ddj #dataviz #mapdatawrapper.deEstimated housebuilding shortfall or surplus by 2029 | Created with DatawrapperAnalysis of 80 years of data compares the peak of private housebuilding with current government targets. 020

A total of 5,910 households with children were living in B&Bs, 3,770 of which had been there for over the 6-week limit. Back in 2010, just 160 families stayed over that limit 012
