Here's my idea, a baby step for gun control. If you want to own a gun, you should be required to pass a written safety test and a shooting test. And, just like cars, you should be required to carry insurance on each gun you own. #guns #commonsense

But you see, we have to pay health insurance CEOs millions to entice someone to take a job running a company that denies life-sustaining treatment to people at their most vulnerable in order to maximize profits. There’s literally no other way to run a healthcare system.

My health insurance story has many shitty parts, but the chef's kiss is Kaiser put a lien on my settlement which was low as it was a hit & run. When I called to ask they follow state law & release the lien (remember, I've NEVER been back to work), the rep said "Do you really need ALL that money?"
