Crashlands 2 just got a MAJOR update! Update 1.2: "The Hardcore Scramble" adds new pets and base-building items, an expanded world map, and even new ways to play the game! I recently got permission to share some more stuff I did for an unannounced IP back in 2022 - some BG paint (not my layouts) and some other concept and asset stuff. I’ll post the portfolio link in the thread if you’re interested in seeing more! 🏙️🌱

A cool toned room in shadow, light streaming in through a window in one spot. There is a bed, a simple desk and chair, and a stovetop and simple kitchen counter. Knick knacks and clutter lie in various places.

A vibrant but calm outdoor daytime scene of two shuttered buildings, one is perhaps a diner, the other a small townhouse type building. There is a chain link fence with a car behind it on the right. Some paper trash is scattered on the sidewalk.

We spice up our Steam store pages with GIFs since it's a lot easier to show off a game with *motion* than static images. GIFS suck though: they look terrible or are huge. But! I found an ffmpeg incantation that works alright and baked it into a CLI tool, so now it's solved forever! #gamedev #steam
