Busan has a new resident named Bukangi, a shark who started chilling in the canals near the train station a couple weeks ago. The city has been trying all sorts of schemes to gently lead her back to the ocean but she foils every attempt and swims back and forth being admired by crowds of fans.

Last night I hosted my third annual secret midnight meet-up in the woods to kick off spooky season! I made this witch head in a box for that. It's got some neat features: Hidden strings open the eye when the box opens. The eyeball is removable and has secrets inside...

Omigod, this is the most heartwarming story possible! Backpack (bear 89) is the son of the 2019 winner of Fat Bear Week, Holly (bear 435). In 2007, he injured his foot & a practice of riding on momma's Holly's back had a new meaning: he was mobility-restricted while it healed. So Holly moved him.

From DISCVR blog's Facebook page, a momma bear & a yearling cub on her back in the shallow water. I think the background has been swapped out, and I can't rule out some AI use there? God, Facebook has become the social media for AI slop : (

The best photo I’ve taken in four years

I’m kissing my sister on the cheek, it’s been four years since I saw her in person. I’m wearing my wife’s sweater set, which is pink, and my mother in law’s earrings which are gold hoops I wear almost every day. My sister is smiling and she is beautiful.
