This was earlier in week but lurgy laid me low until now. After over 3 years of bureaucratic faff, now have a Certificate of Visual Impairment which’ll let me get revoked bus pass back + disabled ID cards that allow free carer in many places (nobody tell them I don’t need a carer 😝)

@enicolaou.bsky.social GP (family doc) thinks migraine (not classic) which may be related to my albinism photophobia getting worse. Low dose beta blocker + referral to neuro. Luckily we’re close (47 miles) to 1 of only 2 neuro specialist hosps in UK so referred directly there

@enicolaou.bsky.social Not sinus. CT completely fine 😭 Thinks it may be neuro. Already on 900mg a day of Tegretol for trigem neuralgia on other side but not touching this. Nerve fits with it being positional though

@enicolaou.bsky.social Going to have a CT scan, ordered one privately & will write to GP as well so can have it on NHS if it’s a reasonable wait and will know private price by then to make a decision as to which to go with. If that shows up sinus stuff, he’ll prescribe six weeks of antibiotics. 2/2
