That’s entirely right. Clinging to Brexit orthodoxy will starve us of the economic growth we need. Delaying the transition to a more renewable energy mix will make us more vulnerable to energy shocks. And tax cuts for those already wealthy will bring little to no economic benefit at huge expense.

The Lib Dem’s have referred Nigel Farage to the parliamentary standards commissioner to investigate the donation he received from a convicted felon and did not declare. He has a lot of questions to answer about who funds him and what they expect in return.

Last night, @LisaSmartMP.bsky.social tabled an amendment to the Crime and Policing Bill to hold water company managers liable for missing pollution commitment levels.   It was voted down by the government. It’s so disappointing that Labour MPs have voted to let these executives off scot free.
