Overheard in the hospital parking lot: "Well, I didn't poop on the table!" Maybe I'll close my windows lol

Went foraging tonight and scored fireweed and mullein. That and rose petals, mangoes and lavender should keep me busy for a couple days!

I discovered something worse than finding an earwig in my bed. Coming back to kill it and NOT finding it. No sleep for me!

Heat pump owners... if you have a traditional split entry home, how many mini-splits do you have, what BTU and is it the right setup for the house? Looking at one, 12,000 BTU upstairs in ours. But another Co. recommended 18,000.

Turning your flashers on doesn't make it ok to park in a disabled spot...not even just for five minutes. Especially in a completely full parking lot. #HaliSky #BedfordNS

Switched from Bell to Eastlink today to save $100 / month on internet. First time using Netflix, buffering all over. Not even 12 hours in and I regret the change.

Petitioning the court: All waiting rooms should include reclining chairs for exhausted parents who could use a 30-45 min nap while offspring are in appointments.

Sitting in the waiting room where my daughter is getting her first filling and is 🤏 close to a panic attack. Here's hoping they get the nitrous in her before that happens.

I think I'm getting the hang of the sourdough! Bread rising, best biscuits I've ever made, and a lemon loaf in the oven. Donuts are next on the list...

Still trying to perfect sourdough...getting a sandwich bread we quite like, but it's still just not quite right. I cannot give up. I mean I want to, but something won't let me until.I CONQUER THE SOURDOUGH 😆

Is there a way to look at your home wifi usage to see if you're subscribed to a higher package than needed? Currently on Fibe 1.5GB but considering switching to Purple Cow. I WFH and there are 4 other strwaming/gaming adults here.I'd love to cut costs.

My daughter was craving meatloaf. I've never had a recipe I loved, until tonight. Super easy. I used BBQ sauce instead of ketchup. Delicious. 1 lb beef 1 box Stove Top Stuffing 2 eggs 1/2 c water 1/4 c ketchup or BBQ Bake on pan at 350 for 45-60 mins. I might add more seasoning next time but yum!

Viola Desmond's story was forgotten for years until her sister Wanda Robson brought it back to light with Graham Reynolds. Today, Desmond's civil rights fight is known nationwide, and she is on our $10 bill. This is her story. 🧵 1/12

A colorized studio portrait of Viola Desmond from the shoulders up, facing forward and looking at the camera. She has dark hair styled back with a soft curl at the front, light makeup, and dark lipstick. She is wearing a light blue blouse with a rounded collar and a decorative brooch or clasp at the neckline shaped like a small gold-toned motif. The background is a smooth, pale beige tone, and the lighting is even and soft.

Interesting part of watching the Olympians walk in is hearing how brutally we've anglicized some of their country names.

Daughter just left the dentist...had xrays and all because she had some pain and a brown spot. Assumed it was a cavity. Nope. It's a "freckle" on her tooth. No cavity. No dent. Couldn't polish it off. A cute little freckle lol.
