Fell off my bike after sinking into the tram tracks, which happened after I tried to avoid a car parked on the bike lane. Lesson learned, next time I’ll just cycle through the car like I’m on Zwift. Recorded @lionsledbydonkeys.bsky.social HOA episode right after. Haters can’t stop me.

1. Armenia drafted a bill to register IMEI codes nationwide. Your phone could be tracked, and if you don't register it, it will become a brick. The justification for the bill is to stop the illegal phone market, which is minuscule. Phone theft in Armenia is also uncommon.

Pashinyan's party, Civil Contract didn't get enough mandates (short by 6) to institute constitutional changes which was the goal maximum. But has enough to decide all the important government positions and has enough for changing quite a few important laws.

1. According to preliminary results the ruling party won and Armenia got the worst opposition possible. Last parliament was terrible, no real discourse but screamig matches and very detached opposition from parliamentary functions.

I wish there were more pieces like this explaining the domestic realities of Azerbaijan. Often authoritarian regimes enjoy the ignorance of media. You ever only hear about Aliyev when he improsenes or kills but not when he manufactures realities and tells his public how to think.

This a “welcome to Azerbaijan” scenario. And I don't say this lightly. It was around 10 years ago when Azerbaijan did this and look at it now. Independent media can't earn money on ads because oligarchs own those companies. Subscriptions won't work because people don't have the money.

A story of another dissident being sent to Russia. Emil Torosyan is a Russian citizen of Armenian origin. He applied for Armenian citizenship and asylum in September but has no answer yet. Armenia decided to extradite him to Russia.

I just came across some videos on IG of Armenian immigrants in the US complaining about deportations while virtually before elections; they overwhelmingly wanted Trump so their kids don't turn out Trans/gay. As you know, this is not the way of the Armenian people. Armenia doesn't have gays or sex.
