Nothing sounds more comforting to me than a date at a cozy diner with my dearest Marbles, sharing a milkshake with our favorite ice cream flavor. This art piece of my yumeship is the first commission I ordered from my longtime pal and another fellow yumeshipper, Tekki (@lovelytekki.bsky.social).

The very first artwork I commissioned from Tekki consists of Mar Mar and me sharing a milkshake at an old-fashioned (1950s-esque) diner - complete with one retro stool seat each for both of us and a round table. While their metal bases are light grey, the fabric stools and backings for the seats are carmine red, with the backings also having a white stripe in their middle. Similarly, the table also has a light grey color for the chrome steel base, but its vinyl and wood eating area has a carmine red top and a white rim.

In this art piece, I’m sitting on the right (left from your point of view) while Marbles is sitting on the left (right from your point of view). The two of us each have a straw at our corresponding side inside a glass groove cup filled with a milkshake in our shared favorite ice cream flavor, mint chocolate chip. Its top is swirled in a manner similar to whipped cream, even having chocolate sprinkles up front and an Oreo nestled into the left (right from your point of view) side.

The diner uses a red and white checkerboard tile pattern for its walls and eggplant purple for its floor: simple, but appealingly so. The specific shade of red is cherry red so the background stands out from the kind of red the seats and tables both utilize. Marbles’s hair shines in its center and back to illustrate the silky quality I imagine it has. The gleam even carries over to our eyes - an effect Tekki uses as her way of maximizing the cuteness of her artwork. Speaking of whom, Tekki has her signature - a Daniel font-like body of pink letters with a heart replacing the dot in the lowercase "i" of her online name - placed onto the top left corner of the art piece - thus partially covering the first two squares of the checkerboard pattern.
