Retired now, but as a UK teacher phones class were banned in my school, unless needed them for medical reasons. Other kids left phones in pastoral heads' offices, where they could go to use them in emergencies. Reasons - bullying online, taking photos without consent etc - which are unethical

Human au
1930s London. Fitzrovia- a vibrant Bohemian hub and home to a lively community of impoverished artists, writers, and political activists, who often met at the Fitzroy Tavern on Charlotte Street.
This story deals with grief, rebirth and seduction, alongside the emotional attraction that Louis feels for the two beautiful men he meets. Meanwhile, Claudia finds a less complicated love while despairing of the man who adopted her.

Having been writing fanfic for one fandom after another since the late 1990's I've always valued the interaction between fans that comments allowed. Sharing a love of the characters, the show, the source material etc is so much fun and part of what makes fic writing enjoyable.

I've noticed that since S3, readers mostly want S3 fics. They're far less interested in other stories or au's than they were after S1 or S2. My kudos have dropped from a few hundred per fic to a few dozen, comments from 10+ to less than 5 per chapter. Don't readers know comments encourage writers?

My first was also about space… the first Moon landing, on my birthday. My dad had made an Airfix kit Saturn rocket and lander and I had a tray of sand that I made craters in for the lander to land in. We took photos from the tv screen including splash down. Nerding from early on!

Summary:

After his mother dies and he sells up the family home and business, Louis comes to England with his adopted daughter, Claudia in an attempt to escape the confines he had lived under all his life. They soon find themselves taken in by a group of artists, actors, musicians and writers who believe in the pursuit of beauty and pleasure.
Louis becomes enamoured of their wealthy patron, Lestat de Lioncourt, a musician and poet, a tortured soul in need of love but afraid to seek it. Almost as afraid as Louis is to offer love. Luckily for them, fate has set each on a course for the other's heart.

I felt similarly aggrieved and filled in their complaints form. To think this reviewer was paid for writing an ode to Tom Cruise and not a genuine review is outrageous. By all means have your preferences, but saying that Sam stumbles his way through the part is an outright lie and an insult.

Jennifer Ehle plays Gabriella (and she was written in S3) very close to how Armand described her in The Vampire Armand. And he describes her in either ballgowns or safari suits. In the context of where she appears in a show, her appearance works.

Gabrielle, she looks just like him, except she’s a woman, totally a woman, that is, sharper of feature, small-waisted, big-breasted, sweet-eyed in the most unnerving and dishonest fashion, gorgeous in a black ball gown with her hair free, more often dusty, genderless, sheathed in supple leather or belted khaki, a steady walker, and a vampire so cunning and cold that she has forgotten what it ever meant to be human or in pain. Indeed, I think she forgot overnight, if she ever knew it. She was in mortal life one of those creatures who always wondered what the others were carrying on about.

Can you explain how censorship may have affected the adaptation? I found the editing of flashback milliseconds too fast to process and wished they’d have used more of the scenes they‘d filmed. The finale looked like they’d given Armand Rhoshamandes scenes from Blood Communion in some ways.
