Louis and the Adonis of Fitzrovia New IWTV fic Human au, 1930s London archiveofourown.org/works/903740...

Louis and the Adonis of Fitzrovia by Angstosaur
Summary:
Human au set in London in the 1930s when Fitzrovia was a vibrant Bohemian hub in central London. The area was home to a lively community of impoverished artists, writers, and political activists, who frequently met at the Fitzroy Tavern on Charlotte Street.
After his mother dies and he sells up the family home and business, Louis comes to England with his adopted daughter, Claudia in an attempt to escape the confines he had lived under all his life. They soon find themselves taken in by a group of artists, actors, musicians and writers who believe in the pursuit of beauty and pleasure.
Louis becomes enamoured of their wealthy patron, Lestat de Lioncourt, a musician and poet, a tortured soul in need of love but afraid to seek it. Almost as afraid as Louis is to offer love. Luckily for them, fate has set each on a course for the other's heart.

For anyone who was or still is a fan of #Torchwood - sad news, the shrine is about to be taken down. We were there shortly after it was set up in August 2009 having been to Sex, Wales & Anarchy the day before.

Ianto's shrine in Cardiff Bay - Mermaid Quay. The site of Torchwood's secret entrance to their base, the Hub, via Ianto's tourist office. Made into a shrine when Ianto was killed by the aliens (and lack of gas mask) in Children of Earth. There are always a range of notes, pictures, flowers and tokens of love left there for Ianto and the show

The shrine in August 2009 - messages, flowers and underwear adorn the grill, a banner wishing Ianto an happy birthday. Short female with bag on her shoulder on the right hand side paying her respects to Ianto Jones.

Customer Notice (pinned to the outside of the shrine - because tourists and locals were confused, thinking someone had died there).
It reads - Please be aware that this is a set from the series "Torchwood". The character Ianto Jones has been removed from the series and this is a makeshift memorial to the character. Thank you. Mermaid Quay Management

Poster regarding lost pteranodon (a character in Torchwood who lived in the base and was let out to go hunting - feared lost in the explosion that destroyed the Hub). Picture of pteranodon next to Ianto Jones.
Wording on poster- Lost Pteranodon. Greyish brown, approx. human height (see picture). Answers to 'Myfanwy', likes chocolate (preferably dark) and sheep. Very friendly, dislikes explosions and other loud noises. (If you see the man with her in the picture, please call as well). REWARD. Please call - Gwen Cooper.
