I haven't watched any ICE footage, BTW. Rene, Alex (well, accidentally saw some but not all). I won't watch police brutality up to a certain point. Animal cruelty. Not bc I'm 'weak' but bc others are bearing witness & I want to remain uncompromised if I can. (I don't like violent media either.)

Just got back from emergency vet. Brought the cat back home so kid could say goodbye. Cat will go back to vet within 24hrs because we can't afford thousands of dollars of hospitalization + diagnostic fees for a 16 year old diabetic hyperthyroid heart murmur cat. I feel like shit.

My arm is on f i r e & it feels like I barely slept on a pile of wadded laundry or discarded coats or something equally lumpy. Cat moving v e r y s l o w but responsive. Thirsty! Won't eat cat kibble dog kibble (loves that!) have gotten him to drink my sadly non nutritious chkn broth (like 0 cals)

My vet is awesome. My cat ate some chkn+turkey meat (& almost my finger his teeth are still sharp & big) But he's sick & sad. And old. Which sux. We think he may be superconstipated. Kidneys fine in Jun/Jul so hopefully not those. Other symptoms not thyroid or diabetes. Will go in 1st thing Mon.

I can't get Grandmother Cottonwood out of my head. The anguished screams of her people, who knew she was older than the US, the last of four in her grove, home & anchor to so many insect, birds & small animals, so important to wandering animals & predators. She was life & community. A revered elder.

The last of 3 (the others dozed earlier this summer.) For a WALL that further devastated. This is ICE too.

I have been with this Dr. for DECADES. Literal DECADES. May need new Dr. * Refuses to take me off Gabapentin. Best advice: don't take during workday, just at night. It is messing w my brain big time, is a proven dementia risk, dementia runs in my family. * Trying to get FMLA paperwork done.

Depends on how I'm feeling/time of year/weather, but cheap ass boxed mac and cheese (either powdered or squeezy but NOT gourmet handcrafted, it has to be fast) or grilled cheese sammies are very comforting. I like creamy tomato soups or broth (ramen, ital wedding, chkn noodle) soups too.

I can not use a heating pad when I lie on the couch because there's no outlet in range (and of course you are not supposed to use extension cords) I NEED HEAT ON THIS SO BAD. I've used ice. It feels so much better with heat.

HAhaHaHA I JUST had a spinal epidural injection & I was alone in the house. The dog needed food but no food in tin so I climbed up to get refill bag like I have for 10,15+ yrs. HUGE ASS FALL. I have to climb up on sink & dog kennel to get refill. Kennel collapsed. I hit EVERYthing on way down.

Had a telehealth appt w my psych & SPECIFICALLY STATED another dr started me on Gabapentin which was MAKING ME MANIC. Then talked abt procedure I was having later in the day. All the while I was too fast, my hands were moving all the time.. agitation bc GABAPENTIN MANIA. Notes say I was ANXIOUS.

I know 6 of these and I HATE 4 of them, really dislike 1. I only like Bohemian Rhapsody and that's mainly because Wayne's World made me appreciate how bombastic Queen was. I like music on the edges. It's great if it spills over. But I genuinely don't like what most people do so I don't seek it out.

I'm 50mutter years old. I enjoy new things, but know what I like - britpop, dreampop, grunge, indie, industrial, noise, post-punk, psychedelia, punk, shoegaze, 120 minutes alternative college rock. Not country. No one is gunna pressure me into listening to this or feeling like I need to know abt it.
