I was trying to put words as to why the Holiday Spirit seems to elude me this year. I realized Peace on Earth and Goodwill Toward Men feels so very far away from the world we're seeing right now. I know Joy is the most powerful form of subversion, but it's so hard to hold on to sometimes.

I usually drink half-caff coffee at home, and it's very hard to find flavored half-caff Keurig pods. Today's win was trying a brand that offers a variety pack and the white chocolate macadamia (they're not pre-sweetened) was quite good! I'm sharing a link below for anyone sharing my struggle.

Turned on the heater for the first time this season. There was good people and good food. I talked to my mom for almost an hour. It was a proper Thanksgiving. (Even if my hosts made me watch the Dallas Cowboys. 😅)
