Just got out of Coyote v. acme a little while ago and it was SO nice to see 2D animation on the big screen again. I'm really happy this film was saved from being a tax write off. Now give us a dvd WB!

Last week when I was visiting my mom she said Critical Role has the same crisp audio/gentle music (I'm in the Schemers arc) that soap operas do, so now we're referring to my ttrpg shows as my soaps.

Got through the day and almost forgot to share this. This is why archives are important. While processing a collection at Maritime, I found a letter mailed shortly after 9/11 still sealed after being irradiated in New Jersey.

My creative energy has returned to me and I spent all evening yesterday on my couch in a pile of cross stitch supplies, my writing notebook, art supplies, and my laptop while catching up on Critical Role (I'm still 14 eps behind but we are making PROGRESS). My little dragon nest was so cozy.

Many are talking about Dolly's music & how they brought attention to various aspect of civil rights. one I haven't seen talked about in the last few days is Harper Valley PTA. If you'll let me, I'd like to talk a little about what this song has meant to me as someone raised by a single mother.
