I love doing my quizzes : partly it’s the fun of writing the questions and delivering them to the audience and because it’s essentially a very tiring 2.5 hours of unpredictable crowd work & improv with a very broad audience of hyper-critical people. Makes me want to go back to stand up every time.

Watched “Wuthering Heights” yesterday ( I don’t understand some of the really sniffy reviews) but I had to try so hard to not shout out “You shut the fuck up Clem Fandango”… Great performances, especially the unexpected and very good Clem (Shazam Latin) and the excellent Martin Clunes.

It’s weird that the far right could get completely unsuitable people elected by generating hysteria around an imaginary elite child trafficking ring, but a real one (involving that same guy) or a billionaire who’s running an AI child porn generating site is probably not worth making a fuss about.

I have to admit Celebrity Traitors was a superb bit of tv and I enjoyed almost every minute! It had wit, charm and intensity despite the surface silliness of the premise and I think its success was really down to great bookings (what a cast!) and the authenticity of the cast. Terrific stuff.

Saddened to hear that Tony Slattery has passed away. Tony was an absolute one off, an incredible artist to share the stage with and I hope he’ll be remembered for his skill and artistry as much as for the more colourful life experiences he had. He was great and a joy to work with.
