I was playing around with n8n and never would've guessed that automating anything other than "Pages" was close to impossible. Sure... I get (and hate) the creepy attention farming for cash. But locking down the APIs is just an asshole move.

We live in a world where people are giving AI agents access to their bank accounts via MCP/OpenBanking. In the meantime, automating personal Facebook/Instagram posts. Impossible!

My biggest beef with Cloud computing is the naming of S3_ACCESS_KEY_ID and S3_SECRET_ACCESS_KEY Every single time I have to type those up I either mistype or confuse the meaning. Also, would it have killed AWS to make the auth pair share a prefix? #devops #rant

Even if creating a policy and wait for it to be enforced is the way to go. The UX of their cloud console is horrible - It would be so easy for it to ask if you'd like to add a policy and add it from the UI. Still love Hetzner for dedis, but as a cloud provider...

Buckets & objects - Hetzner Docs

If anyone at Hetzner could explain to me why I need to individually delete every object of an Object Storage (S3) bucket before I can delete the bucket - that would be great. By the progress of doing a recursive deletion on the FSN1 region I expect our bucket to empty sometime before Christmas

Yes - and being selfish isn't necessarily bad either. It's a natural part of self preservation until it becomes greed. Then there's greed in terms of passively causing harm - and actively causing harm. It's a spectrum basically.
