A problem Go modules hasn't yet solved: maintaining a fork of a package. The `replace` directive is simple but breaks `go install ...` so it's simply unviable sometimes. And without `replace` you need to rewrite all import paths to `github.com/{myfork}/module`. 🤷‍♂️

Sometimes I write some code to fix a bug then puff up my chest and brag to @andrey.nering.dev. He usually informs me that a better fix is in a PR and ready to go. These PRs are typically authored by him. This is how I came to understand the phrase "seeing around corners."
