I really wish my depression anxiety and ADHD didn't make it so hard for me to self regulate my emotions so I didn't have such a bad time with losing my shit in tough situations

Is the deadline for Gradeside YA books the same other submissions? Mine is aimed at a younger audience but I'm not sure how it'll qualify until it's done lol

Shoutout to everyone who treated me like shit and abandoned me. You won. It worked. My life was ruined. Now watch as I rebuild and make it a beautiful sculpture using pieces from the wreckage

I'm currently writing a book I wish I had written when I was younger, before like knocked me on my ass for a good while It would have made more sense then. But things happened, I lost myself, and the worst part? It was all avoidable

If these bastards take our meds away, what next? They're literally trying to kill us

000

AndrewTheWritingRider @andrewwriting618.bsky.social · 17/02/2025

My point here being that if I lose my meds I run the risk of that happening more frequently. I can't imagine how much worse it will be for others who need it more than I do

A few months ago I was off my meds and awaiting a refill. I was without them for a week. Ended up having an episode at a friend's place. They still don't talk to me, and I get it, but it still sucks real bad

I would also include short form essays on things i enjoy and movie reviews Not doing this thinking I'll make a pretty penny, just looking for a fun outlet with good engagement and whatever coinage people are willing to give

If I were to start a blog of sorts, as well as post short stories and chapters from works in progress I'm writing, should I post on substack or ko-fi? Or maybe both?

Fix your heart or die 💔

Portrait of Dale Cooper from Twin Peaks, an empty space carved out of the side of his face revealing the chevron patterns of the Black Lodge. One white pupil of Dale's doppelganger peering out his right eye. A marble sculpture mirroring those in the Black Lodge floats in front of him, hands contorted to make the eerie gestures of Laura Palmer, torso pierced with a sprig of Rosemary, and covered with a cassette tape from Diane. Rest in peace Dave Lynch, you were fucking giant.
