Social media shouldn't be anonymous. You want to go on a racist rant? Fine - enjoy your freedom to express that opinion but take some fucking responsibility for it, rather than hiding behind a fake name and awful AI slop "patriotic" avatar.

I'm half-British and half-Thai. A random right-winger verbally racially abused me in the street for no reason at all. That same man was in my A&E ward a couple of days later due to a cardiac arrest. I was the doctor who saved him. There's a moral in that story somewhere.

#pnefc I can't say that was an improvement. The goals are of the same that could have landed in the previous 6 or more games - our luck was in this time is all. Same poor defending. Needs new thinking, fresh impetus and don't think Euell is that.

Can't recall a game with so many corners. We just can't get the luck. Odd decision to replace Mills with Hughes, perhaps he was the best left on the bench after earlier subs. I still see team playing for Hecky. Need a win to quell the pitch fork crowds!

Another view, I'm guessing Posty delivers ~ 2000 letters per, 5 days a week. Some 10k. Say 25% have video doorbells. They want to be sent 2500 videos each week! Where too? How? Only for them to delete them, each week themselves. I don't think Posty has thought it through! Lol

It's then thrown into some LLMs, and their conversations recorded, (from that private space) which are then fed into an insurance provider who subscribe to background check feeds. I could go on, but that is not that far fetched. Palantir, anyone!? 🤦

Andrew Walmsley @andrewwalmsley.bsky.social · 12/09/2026
Hmmm... Here's an interesting scenario... Home CCTV, capturing private space, uploaded to cloud service provider, who then uses that media, and say throw in some face recognition. That is then consumed and used by wider services who are interested in people's movements and conversations.

So, an example would be my driveway, my property. No GDPR. Public pavements outside a shop door where a posty is delivering, probably is covered. Depends heavily I think on use, as GDPR is aimed at businesses, not individuals.

Andrew Walmsley @andrewwalmsley.bsky.social · 12/09/2026
Private property is exempt, public space, to my limited knowledge, is not. Post isn't clear which one, arguably could be both depending on the location.

Everything else is just noise, and poor quality side depth wise. Does he get the subs right, not always, no. But then only they know constraints of existing players/subs, fitness levels, etc. I'd much sooner focus on the significant change in attacking style of the new players brought in.

Popped over Twitter, to see what #pnefc followers were saying. 🤦 FWIW the loss at Watford had f*** all to do with subs. It was gone by then. 1) poor conversion of huge amount chances in first half, 2) Poor pass by Devine led to equaliser, 3) Inability to deal with cross fot 3rd goal. Simples.

...And the first half showed such promise. I'd hoped Mills coming on would spark them into life, but nothing happened, the back just looked lost. 🙃 #pnefc

Recent recruits do mostly seem to be adding positively to the squad. Encouraging signs are there to hopefully enable them push on and up the table, starting tomorrow with Watford who we have a decent record against and are.

Much needed result today. Good attacking goals, that have been coming, but pleased we finally managed to get them in the back of the net. They are beginning to look like they can play together as a team, it will take time, but is a good building block. #pnefc

#pnefc Someone who promised much, but never did get to the goal scoring numbers the team needed him to be at, and was just too toxic in the end. Difficult to get a quality replacement for the monies they sold him for, but on balance, it was still good business in the end.

A difficult watch for sure. Lacked creativity and winning/keeping the ball. Wolves premier league experience / quality showed.

Agree. Though also worth remembering the team Wolves put out are mostly premier league players a few months ago. Value of their squad is many times more than ours and it showed.

Agree, somewhat frustrating. Though I understand the silence would be in Hemmings family / potential bidders interest, until its resolved (one way of the other). I'd take no news as good news, they're still talking/negotiating hopefully on a desceasing number of friction points.
