Game Designers: How do you best balance a deck of cards where each card has a cost, and then a wildly different power from each other, and some are end game scoring, some are immediate, and some are powers. Asking for a friend. 🎲✂️ Ugh. I can start with a base value, After that I'm winging it.

Picked up Wine Cellar, was able to have designer @andrewstiles.bsky.social sign it and I played today at #Origins2025. Love bidding games and auction games with fixed bid amounts are especially enjoyable. This was a nice quicker entry into that realm. I think I’ll do the 3 round variant mostly.🍷
