Curious about this one for the Browns. We know Berry loves collecting former firsts. On the other hand, I bet Arizona has a high price and the Browns don't need him, he's more of a luxury. My guess is a more desperate team makes the move.

I would argue that St Louis started French, turned Southern during the steamboat days, then flipped to Midwestern due to German and Irish immigration in the late 19th century. It has been sliding back to the South since after WWII. At this point most of Missouri feels like Arkansas to me.

My qualms about the Guardians hitting approach is neatly summarized in this game. We are watching the White Sox hitters start to adjust their approach to Gavin, who is throwing filthy stuff today, while the Guardians haven't shortened a swing all series. They are swinging like it's a HR derby.
