It got a bit scuffed up but we fixed it.
An image of a dvisibly damaged but still standing opera house half buried in the sand. To the right are ruined city buildings.

This is a crop of a behind the scenes photograph of the Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome (1985) model of a post-apocalytpic Sydney cityscape. Original image by Su Armstrong, visible at the Australian National Film and Sound Archive website: https://www.nfsa.gov.au/collection/item/mad-max-beyond-thunderdome-post-apocalyptic-set-construction-2

Would it’ve killed ya?
A picture of a builder’s utility vehicle for a company called Haiku Building. The side of the truck reads:

“ENERGY EFFICIENT HOMES
ARCHITECTURAL HOMES
RENOVATIONS”

I’m no poetry expect but I contend that this is not a haiku.

Now hold up @valorin.bsky.social, can we circle back to the pottery idea? Why did you dismiss that so fast?
A screenshot from the 26th May 2026 edition of Stephen Rees-Carter's Securing Laravel email newsletter.

It reads:

"Unlike other advancements and changes in our ecosystem, such as new frameworks, coding patterns, and dev tools, security is the one area we cannot ignore. If your application or accounts are vulnerable, then you're at risk, and given how fast everything is moving, it's probably a matter of 'when' rather than 'if'.

So what do we do? How do we protect ourselves?

Give up tech and take up pottery."

The words "Give up tech and take up pottery" have a strikethrough applied.

The “they don’t know” meme. The text reads “They don’t know how many agents I have. I should check on my agents.”

A roughly drawn black and white cartoon. A bald man wearing a party hat and holding a drink stands alone in the corner of a room where couples dance, looking sad and pensive with furrowed brow.

The mention of positive affirmation kind of reminds me of this tweet:
A screenshot of a tweet by Ellie Schnitt (@holy_schnitt) which reads “I like when men explain basic things to me because in my mind it's not mansplaining, it's more like when a toddler is really excited to tell you about dinosaurs and you're like that's right cutie! you're so smart!! only one of us is being condescending and it's me
9:19 AM • 05 Feb 22 • Twitter for iPhone”

User “Shane Sea Mashweshwe” replies “If you have to announce it when you're condescending, you're doing it wrong.”

To which user “Vagina Devil Magic” replies “That's a great observation, Shawn!
Great job! ❤️”
