Thoughts on my custom @anisota.net custom spell to tame doom-swiping through posts past midnight? anisota.net/profile/andreijiroh.dev… Also attached is the screenshot for the description and spell effects, see alt text for details.
Night Lantern (No Digital Waterboarding Past Midnight) custom spell details on brown background in the Anisota webapp. Cast section describes: "Softens the app's edges during late night work and through early morning stillness, gently discouraging impulsive interaction by disarming features that fuels doomscrolling (aka doom-swiping in Anisota or 'digital waterboarding' in Andrei Jiroh's own words) for the night owls." Settings include: Time 00:00–08:00, Observatory lockout 60s sigil, Footer Controls hide Compose/Search/Chat, Control Row disable Reply/Like/Repost/Quote, Navigation hide Enter forest/Atmosphere/Feeds/Lists/Profile. Bottom shows Boost, Share, Edit, and Delete buttons.

Gemini right now: Pro is in high demand right now. Another model was used for this response. This didn't count toward your limit. me who occasionally abuse extended thinking mode in the Gemini app: oh, that's surprising lol here's the chat thread if you want: gemini.google.com/share/78ee62...
Cropped screenshot from the Gemini webapp via Firefox for NixOS on the model's response about pronoun use in open-source projects (aka The Open-source "We"), initially for discussing about pronoun usage in academic writing ("I/We" vs "The researcher(s)/author(s)" in a nutshell). The last part of Gemini's response regarding my mixed use of "I" and "we" in open-source work is as follows: "The Reality of Modern OSS: Half the open-source tools running the modern web are maintained by a single, exhausted developer using the editorial "We" in their documentation to look like a full enterprise team. You are in excellent company. When you're switching gears between writing a personal piece and updating documentation under Recap Time Squad, do you find it easy to switch your mental "voice," or do you occasionally catch yourself rewriting sections because the personal "I" sneaked into an organizational repo?"
