Old bag. Still, at least I can now get a ‘flu jab. Plagued by impending sense of doom and a small haughty cat called Daphne Whitethighs.

Having failed as an illustrator for Girls Own Paper as a result of finding feet difficult, Titus Montgomery was invited in to some of the finest homes in England to demonstrate his patented piano pedal shoes. The Wheel of Fortune turns. #GirlsOwnCC

And also help needed! Can you record a short video of yourself saying the name of one of 397 poor men from York who went to WWI? The School Roll of Honour they are named on has recently been restored, and we would like to remember each of them: forms.gle/7XfhUcj46G6Z...

Guess who spotted a mouse under the dresser! My son says that it’s photos like this which demonstrate the need for anti-upskirting legislation.
Daphne the cat spots something of interestA cat’s hind legs and tail vanishing under the dresser.

Apparently , it used to be that GPs didn’t make a formal diagnosis of arthritis without x rays/specialist intervention etc but now they are allowed to cut to the chase. They want me to have the X rays to check I haven’t got an injury as it came on very quickly in my left knee.

Best draw a veil over the whole episode. It was the day when they rescued those little Thai boys from the cave. Momentous in different ways.

And while I’m whinging, I can tell by the way the cat came in with a sense of purpose and without miaowing, and the way there are now scurrying and thumping noises from the next room, that she’s brought in a mouse. I’ve already cleaned up a broken glass today so mouse guts is a natural progression

Feeling very sorry for myself. I’ve had a fortnight of excruciating pain in my ‘good’ knee, not able to leave the house, let alone drive. And now my tooth, the one I had lengthy root canal treatment on, has broken off. I feel like General Franco, dying tiny bit by tiny bit (but without the fascism)

We placed a trailcam at the meeting place of 3 animal tracks in our woodland The choice was obvious. Evidence of deer, badger & rabbits using the tracks What did we get? Over 1,000 photos of the same two squirrels. Sometimes foraging, but almost all just arsing around 🙄

Very chatty nurse at the GP surgery today. She told me that while her mother went along with the biennial request from the NHS bowel cancer screening unit for a poo sample, she didn’t like the idea of them jostling up against Christmas cards in the Post.

This is an interesting case. Paragraph 2 reads: “This is, however, anything but an ordinary case because there is a dispute as to whether the children exist at all.” It would make a wonderful Gothic novel. www.judiciary.uk/wp-content/u...
