This is not about the merits of Iran’s nuclear program. No president has the authority to bomb another country that does not pose an imminent threat to the US without the approval of Congress. This is an unambiguous impeachable offense.

We have a madman in the White House who is actively trying to trigger total war. If Jeffries, Schumer, or any other Democratic leaders try to justify this, shrug indifferently, or write a strongly-worded letter and call it a day, they need to step down or be aggressively primaried.

Having now watched the footage and interview two of the members who were there, the amount of armed, masked federal agents surrounding three members of Congress and a mayor outside the ICE facility was totally unnecessary; the only possible reason for it was intentional escalation and intimidation.

It should be very clear to every Senate Democrat that any vote for Cloture will also be considered a vote for the bill. People aren’t going to be tricked with procedural games. They know exactly what is going on. Defend Medicaid. Vote NO on Cloture. NO on bill.

Musk was fluffing Putin and Xi and hobnobbing with MBS when our government allowed him to acquire and destroy Twitter. What’s done is done, but we need to collectively see this Apartheid Nazi as the existential threat he is, and soon, before it’s all gone.

Chapter 17 “On Tyranny” @timothysnyder.bsky.social covers words that are now ordinary such as extremism & terrorism used to increase people’s fears. Simply look how the GOP has taken very rare issue of sexual assaults by drag queens compared to those by male preachers - the exception vs the reality

The next four years are going to be tough. They are going to be scary. Trust me, I saw the inside of Trump world closer than most. I'm not going to stop doing my work, no matter what. We are going to get through this together. My only ask, don't get disenchanted. Don't run away. Stick with me here.

When a hurricane struck North Carolina, Republicans lied about FEMA. When a terrorist attacked New Orleans, Republicans lied about immigration. When wildfires hit Los Angeles, Republicans lied about fire dept. funding and DEI. Exploiting tragedy is part of the GOP playbook. Helping victims is not.

Josh Shapiro called the McDonald’s employee who reported Luigi Mangione a “hero.” She will NOT get the $10,000 reward money because she called 911 instead of the tip line. By the way, Josh Shapiro got $15,000 in donations from United Healthcare last year. Numbers are fun.
