I dont envy backend engineers. Everytime I have to setup a ssh connection to a server (the same server, mind you) something is different. Nothing works. Endless config tinkering ensues. But once it works I feel like a fucking magician - or a Matrix Operator 😎

The tutorial is working ok right now, but what the people seem to need is somewhere to practice where to sit in a corner to be fast. That should ease them into their first race which almost everyone just wanted and expected to win.

Thats a good idea! because for the racing line I wanted to do something similar to your proposal, but as texture decals on the floor. The tracks are all set, there is no randomness, so I can add danger signs, props and different textures, arrows intentionally :)
