Boys State happened simultaneously, on the same campus. we were STRICTLY FORBIDDEN from talking to the boys, all week. Then at the end of the week they made us have a DANCE with them. and the counselors taught us "how to respectfully decline a dance," where i was told "just "no" is too harsh."

and then with rideshares it's even scarier. no one takes your time, livelihood or safety seriously in any tangible way. Lyft and Uber both track their drivers when the app is open. They KNOW WHEN THERE ARE NO DRIVERS IN YOUR AREA. They still give you a low estimate on wait times.

today at the Urban Gleaners site at AMP (Artist Mentorship Program) they gave out pastries to everyone in line who wanted one. I thought that was cool cause most of us waiting in line haven't eaten yet, so we usually have to wait till we go thru and then leave the building to eat the food we got.

I was already struggling with 2 kidney stones, then my chronically ill cat got a bladder obstruction and had to be put down. I called out tomorrow but we've only raised $300, which doesn't even cover the euthanasia bill. PLEASE don't leave me behind 🙏🏼
